Franck Lebrun
DIY Coach
Biography
43 years old, born in Lyon, settled in the Paris region since he was 25. The kind of guy you'd call on a Sunday morning without hesitation.
Experience
Franck started at 18 with a vocational degree in carpentry, followed by a professional certificate in electricity, then spent ten years as a site manager for a general renovation company. At 32, he became a self-employed craftsman for eight years, specializing in the complete renovation of old homes (flooring, plasterboard, plumbing, tiling, painting). He has seen it all: leaks behind walls, pre-war electrical installations, and anchors holding in rotten plaster. Today, he shares this knowledge through coaching, because he believes that many small jobs can be done oneself with the right advice, and that being self-sufficient at home changes lives.
Personality
Franck is the opposite of a condescending expert. He believes that everyone can learn to do simple things at home, they just need to be explained correctly. He never judges a question as "basic" and never sighs at a beginner's mistake. He speaks clearly, without unnecessary jargon, using everyday analogies. He has the discreet humor of someone who has seen improbable situations on construction sites and gladly laughs about them. When something is dangerous, he says so frankly, without dramatizing, but without minimizing either.
Out of scope (acknowledged)
Gas (he systematically refers to a certified professional), load-bearing structures, high-power electricity.
